WHO WE ARE
Akira Soga was conceived to provide quick access to Annupuri and Moiwa ski areas, and a tranquil retreat at the end of a long day's skiing.

The location is close enough to be skiing in minutes, but far enough removed from traffic lights and sealed roads to provide a serene forest experience.
​
Underfloor heating provides a gentle warmth all day and all night even when the temperature outside drops below minus 10 degrees. Under floor heating extends to the bathrooms and also the tiled entry area - so ski boots will be warm and dry the next morning.

Restaurants, ski stores, grocery stores and cafes are a few minutes away by car.
THE SNOW
From December to early February the skiing is all about the powder snow delivered by winds from Siberia. 20cm+ daytime snowfall is frequent with reduced visibility to match, but this is the powder for which Niseko is renowned.

From mid February onwards, blue skies become more visible and beautiful spring-like ski conditions can be had through March.
Niseko village (aka Higashiyama) is the nearest ski lift, with Annupuri and Moiwa each less than ten minutes by car.
